Piercing Look
I loved that piercing look and cropped the image just to emphasize that look. Toned the image with slightly blue to kind of portray the mood of night after B&W conversion. Love to know your thoughts.

Eye looks like a gem. Really wild and wet look. Agree, one of the best bore images.

This is sheer brilliance! Amazing feel to the image. Definitely one of the best wild boar images from this land. I remembered Matthias Klum's image of the Bearded Pig from Borneo...
Here it is: http://klum.se/gallery/images.aspx?ID=20&OrderNr=5

Excellent one...thanks for sharing

That's a powerful eye there. Whole image stands on it. Nicely done. TFS.

I think the night ruse has worked beautifully here, Ganesh! The colour temperature of the image makes it very convincing as an infrared picture! Composition-wise I think the exclusion of the boar's nose makes this an offbeat creation and the presence of the neatly placed (which they're usually not) grass blades adds immense value.

The only open question I have in mind is how would this image turn out with more DOF, and whether it would make this excellent image even better. If you have one with a smaller aperture, kindly share that too in the illustration forum.

Santhosh, I made this using 600mm f4 and hence this narrow dof :)
