Nice, I would have loved a better position of the myna than it is as of now. The close to the edge of the frame and the elephant dominating takes a little of the punch away.

Beautiful capture with lovely feel. Though I would loved more If there is crop of at least 2" from bottom. Than both Elephant and Myna have good attention and being very close to the eyes :)

Cheers, Rahul

Can't agree more with VMR's comment on myna's placement. :)
Having said that, I do agree that these things are seldom in our control on field.
Liked the softness in the grass all around - which is accentuated by the 'misty' atmosphere.

This has a sad mood :), its like the retreat and the bird is the last soul mate left for the pachyderm. Ganesh this image can connect to millions of hearts and I think when an image speaks a million words by itself, why bother about technicalities of placements and other stuff. You are never alone even when you think think you are alone, a stranger comes and joins hands with you, you might not know his name, its not important to know who he or she is, they connect to each other and the moment lives for ever and ever, thats nature for me, thats life for me. Reminds me of a song by Tagore :). Thanks for this one Ganesh, two very emotional images, one from Ashwini and then yours. Great show. Not rating as emotion cannot be rated.

To me , that mynah makes a lot of difference in this image:) Had he been on the other side, then it could have easily balanced the weight of the elephant in the frame and we could have called the image the Mynah and the elephant instead! :) :) :)
Totally love the mood!

Ganesh: Just as you enjoyed the moode this image has created. And i don't need a better position of myna. That is exactly what i like in this forum - Heterogeneous tastes !
and ratings as Nilanjans says, i'm not bothered now a days.
