I do not know how to explain this Ganesh, but the white area looks like a gaping hole, the highlight is just too strong to handle. I have faced this difficulty during my Gujarat trip and simply had problems in handling these. Often thought may be filters would help, often thought may be exposure bracketing and then make a composite would help, but now I truly try to avoid keeping the sun in the frame in situations like these. This is one situation I definitely need to learn how to handle.

For me this is an interesting image. The image which teaches me quite a few things.
1. If there were only one line (the jeep track I am referring to) which is starting at the bottom center of the image, that would have added amazingly well to the composition. The presence of the line on the left is disturbing that balance. It was probably not in your hand to avoid that, but I wish...
2. A bluer sky at the top would have added much to the color schema of the image. But it is difficult to expect that considering the image was shot when the Sun is in the frame and he is still quite high in the sky.
3. The lone prominent strand in the right is adding very well to the frame.
4. The way you have kept the size of the mammoth small in the frame is really giving a different dimension to the image.
Overall a very interesting frame for me which helped me in understanding my taste further! :) Believe me, it takes years together to understand what we like and what we dont... and I am still learning.... not yet there probably! A bit confused soul!! ;)
