Jayesh,
Firstly I wish to compliment you for this excellent idea/thought to shoot the foot print trails of a bird in this fashion.
I feel this fantastic idea could be improved upon by:
1) Selecting similar narrow DOF somewhere around 1/3-rds from the bottom of the frame.
2) The 4 or 5 foot-prints (the ones u choose to keep in DOF) should preferably be well imprinted & well-defined in sand (in other words their pattern is not disturbed or smudged).
I am not sure how feasible (in field) they are though :)

But I liked your idea so much that I thought of adding my share.

An increased DOF would have made this a very interesting image. But a very creative idea none the less

Jayesh, Nice idea indeed and different feel here. In my opinion such patterns look great if we expose them in parallel to the CCD/film plane, even greater DOF will do better.

Nicely visualised and I agree this one could have got better as Kaushik as lister, full credit for seeing this so nicely.

Jayesh! I think your attempt at creation is clearly visible in this image. Instead of rendering the middle portion sharp, I would render foreground sharp and gradually blur as we go up the frame - that way I think eyes will be busy seeing those little footsteps and going up the frame mind will take over - just how I see it. As VMR said, full credits to seeing here.

Really a creative thought in the image Jayesh. A little bit of higher DoF and the focus towards the bottom of the frame would have been added a great deal to the image. Nevertheless a well attempted image.
