@ramesh: i had tried B&W, but i didn't find it having the same impact.. then again, my B&W conversion skills are not the best.

It has almost come to a stage for me where i can start guessing that its Swaheel's image even by seeing the thumbnail Very much typical signature image of yours.
Good stuff here and liked the idea of inverting the image to give a sort of graphical structure.
As Ramesh suggested - why dont you try out a B&W option with a slightly higher contrast and post it in the Illustration forum for others to have a look and share their views.
