presences
This one's taken at gorkhey, a small hamlet at the border of west bengal and sikkim. We were about to pack our bags and move on to the last leg of our trek to ribdi when this school girl passing through jungle caught my attention. A small presence livened up the scene for me. At times it looks spooky too. Your comments and critiques please.

Love the brush stroke kind of effect and the subtle light in this image Nirlep. Of course the school girl sets this apart. Just keen to know how do you think your senses would have responded if it were a deer instead of a school girl ?

Beautiful compoistion Nirlep, It would have been awesome if the trees were sharper

I simply loved it...in the way it is. In my opinion rendering the trees sharp would have taken away the impact. As presented it has a nice dreamy feel to it. The girl just stands apart amidst the trees and as she is also in motion it is adding a good dynamism to the image. Thanks for sharing...

Thanks folks for your comments and critiques. I've been away and off internet for past four days. And Ganesh your poser is an interesting one ...how would I respond if it were a deer instead of a school girl?....Well I guess we all have our stimulus cut out. I've thought over and over again , a deer passing through that small window between the trees and found it wouldn't interest me as much as the school girl. It could be how one is trained to see. I've never trained my lense on wildlife. people interest me no end, nature and landscape too...and I think that's the reason my shots tend to depict convergence of humans and nature...well just my thoughts. Thanks for stirring me up.
