Its me............
Made this image from my window..This fellow along with company are occasional visitors in my garden.Need to bribe them with millet grains to keep them occupied in return getting some oppourtunity to shoot them from close distance. This is almost fullframe image, cropped side BG only...I think more DOF would have rendered eyes also in sharp focus, anyway ....
will try it again....

Man, you have an eye to see differently for sure ! Nice perspective here Jayesh. Would have loved a bit more sharpness and a bit more dof upto eyes. Square composition looks unique to my eyes here - at first I was tempted to suggest an alternative composition but then I realized my suggestion may be conventional and routine..

lovely looks very cute! and yes as both you and Ganesh pointed DOF is missing (both for the beak tip and the eyes)

Nicely composed. Its peeping right into ur lens ! Best part is that the head is looking absolutely symmetrical.
As u said, more DOF wud've been better...

Jayesh, Love the different perspective look and angle here. Agree with DOF (or eyes to be in focus). May be straight crest would have created more balanced feel. TFS

I also tried something similar when the peacock of my Conservator's house came to visit me. Liked the comp but not sure about the squareness of the frame.

Interesting image Jayesh. Love the way it is looking through the lens! I agree with others on the sharpness. I also feel, if the frame is squarish, then its better off placing the subject at the center than off center. Just my two cents..
