Sharing with you the camera settings i used for this image...

F 13, 1/400 sec ISO 400 @ 400 mm

What settings i should have used to get the desired DOF ?

Hues are great. @ 400mm it's challenging to get great DOF. Or you could have focused on the foreground water ripples so anything beyond will be in DOF range.

Lovely low light silhouettes. Though the horizon looks a bit crooked. And I would have opened up the shadows a bit, but that would be me. Lovely image.
