Indian Vulture
I made this image last week end. I kind of liked the posture of the bird and it facing away from the frame. An aspect of human mind which interests me - unlike other animals we can find "meanings" out of nothing ! Here the posture of its head (neck down) seem to generate some unexplainable feeling in me. I have other images with neck up but I kind of liked this most with neck down. Your thoughts are welcome.

Ganesh, It's bold compo to place subject facing away from the frame, it works for me. What I like the most here is the gradation pattern on the rock.

This image invoked sad feelings for me, Ganesh. Life has been tough for these vultures. It seems the bird is brooding over its day. The bent neck adds to its feel of helplessness. Very touchy. TFS.

"The bent neck adds to its feel of helplessness" -

Ramesh, That is exactly the feeling I got. But then, it just happened to look down while I pressed the trigger. Certain postures/arrangements seem to create "meanings" that are not existent.

If someone could put thoughts on the status on Vultures, this image would simply sum it up very nicely. Interesting composition here, I think the bold composition is aided by the rock going down oppositely.
