Butterfly - A failed attempt
It is for some time I have been thinking/attempting at wide angle macro photography. I made this one last week after hours of trying - not at all happy with the image from composition perspective - it was extremely tough to get it right but I think is possible. However I am encouraged by the possibilities. Just waiting for monsoon to break..

Have been trying similar things (well, not exactly as yours, but may be in the same lines in mammal world). Limited by accessories, experiments are paused. What accessories do you use Ganesh?

- RD

Not much of accessories for wide angle macro RD - wide angle lens plus some extension tubes. The the main issue is working distance which measures in a few inches or less with such set up and really painful to manage in the field.

Nice try Ganesh... I am sure we will get some unique and wonderful images soon.

Even I had wanted to try similar compositions.. Is it not good idea to predict and shoot using remote ? I was thinking that might help in a way but still haven't experimented to give confident suggestion :)
