Ramesh, i feel those bright spots on the top of the frame takes the focus away from the subject, how about a vertical composition by cropping out the left half of the frame??
Thanks Adithya for your views. Vertical crop is a good idea. will try it. Honestly nothing much in this frame is planned. Now that it came out this way, my mind started attaching meanings to it while processing. Consider my next comment in that context: for me that bright spot symbolized the brighter world on the other side to where the butterfly has headed.
hmm, when i look the image from your perspective the -ve space brings that meaning to the image.. however even with a vertical crop, you would still have the bright spot at the top left of the frame which balance out the frame diagonally, and your thoughts would still be meaningful.
I like these kind of images but I really wish that the butterfly was closer to the cam, wings widely spread and the top part of the cloud less brighter. I know very difficult to handle so many things and get all that we want....
