Rainland Stories
I live amidst thick forests and mountains. For the people who visit this place for one or two days this place looks like like heaven. But for the people who lives here it's not always like that. Especially in the rainy season life becomes very tough. Here "when it rains it pours". Just 10-15 years back daily needs for the rainy season had to be bought and store before the rain starts and had to live without power, road, without outside world communication. Even now the situation had not changed fully. When it starts raining in June it stops only in mid October. This year also it's raining here from the last 15 days without any break .
I am trying to make a set of images where I can depict the mood of monsoon. I am using some on field techniques like OOf, to bring the essence of the scene.
I would like to know your views.

Note: It's very difficult to separate the human life from the nature, yet depict what I like to. I have made some more images which are here

Adithya, my eyes seem to wander around the frame in search of a strong anchor. Though my mind kind of wants the fall to be such an anchor eyes seem revolve around the out of focus foliage on upper left half of the frame. Personally I would have liked the image to be a little more grounded in reality. I like some of those monsoon blurs which seem to stay between abstract brush strokes and camera, and those which goes beyond are not my cup of tea - or let me put it this way, when it crosses that boundary I loose my ability to critique)..

Thanks for sharing your experiments..

Dear Ganesh,
Thanks very much for the views.
"when it crosses that boundary I loose my ability to critique).." this down to earth nature of you makes us participate in the forum so passionately. But, thank god, we all know your abilities :)
Back to the image, Is it the composition that is not working for you or the effect that is not matching your taste? Sorry sir, I didn't get you fully. I request you to elaborate.
I have posted one more image here. I would like to know your views on this also.
