For some reason the island appears to float in the sky. This is what makes the image for me. Some prominent visual element on the island would add to the picture in my view.

I kind of like the composition, am finding the tone to be quite interesting . For a moment I imagined a larger stork or a heron sitting on the island .

The muted tone creates special mood here. Compositionally placement of island works well here. Thanks for sharing..

@Nirlep: I have images of just the island on the top of the frame and no boulder at the bottom left corner. However those images give the same feeling of floating island in the sky. Hence i included the boulder at the left corner. I wanted to emphasize the Island which is always small compared to the mainlands, the islanders - thick knee pair roaming in that island. I wonder whether that worked!!!
