An ant's spin
I peeped into a hole in a tree bark and found this ant. It was way too active spinning on something.
Wish I had the face a little sharper, this was actual evening sunlight.

Love to know your comments.

Ohh I simply love this one :-) Very interesting behavior too. No nits for me. This looks more natural to me.

Rajesh, I think the act of spinning could have been emphasized further by closing in on it. The two dark lines on either side seem to take away considerable attention.

Actually the focus was on the area just above whatever the ant was spinning, the right point of focus might have made it even better. I slept visualizing this image yesterday and was wondering that there are some images we love to see many times over even if they are not perfect :-). Rare one Rajesh. Had to come back to see it again.

I should consider myself very lucky..comments from 2 great people :)
@Nilanjan - The hole was such that I couldn't move the ball head in the direction I wanted. The ant was moving fast too.
@ Ganesh - Agree with you 100%. Guess it takes years of practice to get the image in one's mind first. I shall strive hard for that and get a better one next time.

Still have a lot to learn :).. I do by looking at your images. Thanks a lot!
