Excellent image Saurabh. Love those foot steps and shadow of the bird along with ripples on sand. You have been posting images made at this location for some time now. I would love see this place, don't care it is a view from a bridge..

Wonderful image again Saurbh. This brigde seems to produce a lot of 'views'. Foot steps, shadow, reflection, sand, patterns on sand have created a great visual here.

Yes sir, very right on the place... This is same old bridge from where I have made many of my images while going to office... :-)
Due to high-tide and low-tide, patters on the riverbanks often change and I get opportunities to make images with some common species on different bg...
Thank GHS & DR for your kind words on the image...
Regards

Dear Saurabh

I will not get into whether I like this image or not, neither will I get into the technical aspects of photography. The first time I saw this image in facebook, I downloaded it and made a few crops to re compose and also sent you by email. Now, the way I saw this image revolved so much around the shadow ( not reflection ) as the principal subject. You might ask why ? My simple observation is shadows represent presence of life's deeds, it could be a fathers shadow on a son, it could also be the deeds of a person's impact in life who is no more ( may be an author or even your school teacher ). For example we in Bengal are living in Tagore's shadows. For every moment or reason in our life he has a poem, or a song and we can relate so much. We often try to follow his footsteps from the inspirations of his compositions. Your image was so perfect to show this photographically, footsteps leading to the shadows of deeds. To be alive and breathing is not life, not breathing himself but allowing millions to breathe through his works is the true meaning of LIFE. All we can do is try and follow the footsteps ( which can represent the gradual steps of understanding through our own work in this life time ). Inclusion of the bird and the reflection actually made me feel that you served me a platter where the starters got mixed with the main course and the dessert, yes it can still satisfy my hunger by filling my stomach, but the nuances of the 3 course candle light dinner would not be there anymore :-). I hope I could explain myself to you. Please do not think, I did not like the image, I found something more in it for myself :-).
