Nature's Bridal Gown
The objective behind this image of Vibhuti Falls was to show the beauty and splendor of nature. Can such an image whose objective is beauty be considered creative art? Would love to know your thoughts.

regards,
ramesh

Art is about what is inside rather than what is outside

Ramesh, I like the wet forest feel and zig-zag flow here.

Regarding your question I think it is a one :) My honest personal view is just capturing the beauty as is does not qualify to be a creative work. However, there is a lot of scope of creativity in such expressions - we all know what we experience there and what we show in 1000 pixels is totally different. I think there can be lots of creativity in overcoming some of those limitations of science using art - which makes them creations.

Thanks Raj and Ganesh for your views. I agree Ganesh, that we can capture beauty creatively. Need to explore that further.

I believe, an image whose objective is beauty be can't always be considered creative art. And in this case also. :)
