Silence of Winter
A white necked stork enjoys the silence and solitude of a winter morning in Bharatpur. Even though the mist receded and day progressed, it sat in that meditative pose for a long time. How wish to be in this lovely place again!

nice mood. was there any chance to go a bit closer? Not to get tighter compo, but to use more wide angle covering more of BG, keeping the size of the bird bigger.

Thanks for your views, Adithya. No, i couldn't get any closer. I had max'ed out on my focal length. I couldn't get any closer as there was a marsh between the bird and my position:(
