Had to come back to this image Ganshi, one of the best nature abstracts I have seen in my life buddy. This image has made me very emotional since morning, perfect way to end the year for me I guess. It's so important for artists to understand the true meaning of art. Art can never be created with desires from the physical world in mind, art is very much like the love which happens. Images like these speak of a mind which is born for art and not for selling a canvas in the name of art. Many upcoming and young minds are painfully searching for an anchor of success in this journey, name fame, success, BBC, Nature's Best, but what about the happiness that one can provide to himself or herself, does it really matter how does one look in the eye's of the community ? If I can make myself happy then am successful, if I can make myself happy then I am artist, if I can make myself happy then I really do not need others to make me happy. Hope all the young one's read this and try to understand how this image was created. Techniques, desires in life, running after fame will never let one create an image like this. Hats off Ganshi, love you boy.

Love the abstract feel in the image Ganesh. I am finding more than one out of focus flamingo makes my eye float over the image. Was thinking just one out of focus flamingo might have given a stronger anchor point. When i was looking at this image i was reminded of your state space article Ganesh http://www.naturelyrics.com/pages/articles/state_space.html you had written some time back. In connection with that article do you feel the number of out of focus flamingoes has increased the number of variables in this image ?

Mahesh, I think similar patterns reduce complexity or reduce state space. I have a few images from this trip where I have just one in focus and the rest of the infinity blurred. However, kind of liked this for its abstractness.

Creativity is in seeing the real beyond the real. The more we meditate on reality (I've deliberately avoided using the word concentration) the more it is revealed to us surreal. It restores surprise in things which is lost in humbug and surfeit of visual assault on our senses. This image of yours is strongly surreal in the way it unifies spaces. water as bird as colour as form as space. It is this mutability which captures my imagination here. Birds in the foreground are what make this image and that was your decision. Ganesh this decision is a great one for it catalysed and awakened the potentiality latent in the scene. Awakening happened first in your mind and then engulfed the scene in its outbound manifestation. Summing up in Nilanjan's words " Art can never be created with desires from the physical world in mind, art is very much like the love which happens.", this shot is a true valentine.
