Love this dude! The halo of the Milkyway galaxy is awesom and it shows details very beautifully. In my taste I would have liked the tree to be lit with warm yellow night rather than having a cool blue light on it. I have realised that when it comes to Astro / night photography there is no standards to compare against as "WE" the photographers have to make the image literally out of nothing and its something thats not evident to the general vision. So there is no right or wrong. Brilliant image. Always love Astro images

Can we have a leg less, light painted ghost on the tree too ? That would go well with excellent mood of night Well executed Shiv.

About light painting, I think a bit less evident would have added. Between pure black (compare for example with Ashok's image posted earlier) and this one *I think* there is an intensity which that we can get from light painting which will appear as natural . For me pure black is not natural if there is moon in the sky. Human eye can clearly make out edges of the trees and some faint details in the darkness. Simulation of that is possible using light painting and using correct color temperature (may a bit less cooler than this). Thanks for sharing.
