Fear
A unplanned pic. More instinctively taken. But later realized shows the fear and confusion of the captured young elephant. C and C welcome

I would have preferred more of the logs actually, very touching Rajkumar...goes away the freedom of one more.....when would it stop ? who wants free food ? It's better to go down without food and human care than getting all from behind those cages.

Rajkumar thought provoking image, would love to see more contrast and emphasis on the eye, blacks too , also the small wet portion on the log resembled the tears that continued from the baby..
Thanks for sharing

Hi Raj,
A telling moment captured here. What an eye can reveal! That hint of red in the eye awakens strong empathy.

This is excellent framing. Love that woodlocks framed the elephant nicely and the eye brings out the emotion that you mentioned.
You just need to increase the contrast a little on this.

thanks all. For me this was a snapshot in the sense not a planned exposure and did not think about it for 15 min before I took it. But that is where I am loosing my spontainety and becoming rigid. all my well thought out images are technically decent (I hope!) but emotional connect is missing . I am thinking of buying a mirrorless and letting go. Any comments on how I am thinking here ?
