Look Here! Right between my eyes
Hypnotic. The largest and most endangered of all zebras ~ the Grevy's zebra, is also my favorite. Found in the northern reaches of Kenya, it is a zebra which (i feel) looks much better in color, than in black and white.

Indeed hypnotic lines! If I can suggest - how about clipping the ears and few pixels from the bottom to better the FOV ? :) Will come back to this image later.

Striking curves are indeed very powerful here. May be cropping a few pixels off at the top (till ears) would increase the impact further ? Unless you have other thoughts about the composition Arati.. Thanks for sharing.

earlier i was thinking of including the whole ear - which is beautifully rounded (another differentiating factor in this species)... but I agree with both of you. less of those distractions, the better ~ tried cropping it here:

Thank you,

Mesmerising. I am reminded of a t-shirt that I had as a child, which had such lines, which used to make people see lines everywhere, after looking at me for sometime. I too would go for a tighter crop here, to intensify the confusion!

Hi Arati,
This is unlike any other Zebra image I've seen before. Love the maze of stripes. Ganesh's cropping suggestion works for me too.

Thanks Sandeep and Nirlep. Yes, it is natures elaborate and exquisite hypnotic defense against predators :)
