If you had not predicted, its verticle camera movement on line of trees. The "fumes" or curves in between have resulted because of the branches of those trees.

In 2009, there was a bushfire incident in this beautiful area (Marysville, Vic) which unfortunately devasted the whole place causing many deaths. The continuous chain of burnt trees in the near by valley & mountains still shows the aftermaths. I am not sure if these leaf less trees are also result of that incident but looking at this image makes me emotional sometimes, as if it is fumes of those lost lives.
