How exactly did you take it?

Nirlep:- I was photographing this water-boat ( insect which is visible inside the water) when I saw that there were some water bubbles coming out from the bottom (mostly nitrogen). The bubbles explode just near the water boat making ripples over the insect. This happened again and again and after repeated trials I made this image, I missed the bubble but caught the ripples. Regards.

Very interesting image there. For me the image is made even without the insect. Nice gentle effect the ripples are giving.

I concur with Ashwini here. Never saw the insect in the thumbnail, and seeing it in the image was ... well, I would say a little disappointing as it was taking away the silky smoothness of the water for me! Brilliant image nevertheless!
