A Walk Of Sun...
Hi,
Here is a diptych image of Sun and Moon... While Choosing the Title, Several Thoughts triggered. "Seasons of Day", "Seasons of Life", "Life" , "Walk of Life" etc... For me, some of these titles may pull the viewers imagination into negativity (Seasons of life, Life, Walk of Life) or it may pull the memories of past. With the similar thoughts, the imagination of viewer I wanted to divert. Here, Walk of Sun, is when the Sun's energy being spread across, over the horizon, everywhere and in the other part, still traces of Sun exists, but they are not pronounced. They are pronounced with darkness, but the glow is still the Sun's energy.

I dont know this is my thought. if it doesn't fit, I would appreciate the viewer, who can shed some light on this.

Thank you Viewer.

How about "Shades of life" to showcase the harsh reality of life or "The other side" to include some mystery here?
Liked the thoughts and images. A vertical compo with sun on the top also came to my mind after seeing this as an alternate way of presentation with an appropriate title.
Thanks for sharing.

An interesting diptych experiment here Raghu. How about keeping them separated as diptych instead of presenting them stitched together ? While together it does not look like a diptych but if you separate the sunset one might look a bit odd too. Try, try and come back and share, you will learn and we will too :)

Thoughts came into my mind about this image(breaking down the elements in the picture to objects and finding symbols for them, what they get associated to )

sun - emits light, source of energy/life etc, light, colour, day, etc

moon reflects light, image formed coz of sun's light falling on it, not reality only an image, night, darkness, without sun moon will not be seen, etc

both are opposites..

when both kept together (as in the picture )- 2 opposites trying to be one even when both are 2 different entities....like 2 sides of a coin....

how i associate it with man...

2 faces of a person ..one to the world another what he is in reality....the reality is where his energy is but the unreal one is always along with him which gets reflected only coz of his reality...

i would nail down it to portrait of a person who has 2 faces one shows the world and what he actually is...one for the world might be dark like the night but the reality can spread energy to the world ....

presentation of the picture

very good graphics ,visually pleasing ,balanced composition ....liked the image as it is....
I’m sure this is not the way to write my thoughts about this image..but very bad in literature…..so made it points like this….

not sure if my thought process is correct....but this is how i decode an art work be it painting, sculpture, installation, conceptual photography etc...

Praveensir.... Thank you much for that beautiful view... You are presenting my mind... The sun and its traces, would be compared to a human and his deeds... which then says it all....

Thank you..

Loved the presentation and concept. I liked the original version itself than the rest of the ones you have shared.
