Ghosts of Silent Valley
I made this image last year during the monsoons in July at the Silent Valley NP. Unlike the Lion-tailed Macaques (LTM) in the Anamalais, these are quite shy, elusive and remain at the higher branches of the rainforest trees. The pouring monsoon rain and the nature of these LTM's does make it difficult to create a good image but I enjoyed the challenge. I wanted to make an atypical image of the LTM, not sure if this qualifies for one. I would appreciate your comments and critiques on this. Thanks.

The image took me to its world Vikram. I think all the trees/leaves in between adds to the mood. We also seem to look for our subjects sitting on the open branch with nice green backgrounds and not even care to look at them when they are in between clutter of branches. Personally I prefer these kind of images when there is some amount of visual order which I think you have it here. Thanks for sharing.
