Made this image of a Large Scaled Pit Viper in the Anamalais - Western Ghats recently. Its believed to be endemic to the Anamalais, the way it was moving about in the dark made me think why they call it "Viper". Thanks for your views.

Beautifully framed Vikram. Black and green makes very good combination. very graphical. Inclusion of the leaf is a very good decision and it's making huge impact.
I would prefer to crop 3 inches from the bottom to emphasise the graphical feel of the image.

Fantastic creation Vikram! Just love the 'peeking' leaf and how the viper seems to sense it and is approaching towards it. I would crop a few pixels from the bottom for a tighter composition :)

vikram, i second observation by adithya nd pramod,, it could have been another snake image...but the inclusion of the leaf in the frame with the gap , establishes a relationship between the two...a spatial relationship...nice.

I totally agree with others on how the Green leaf is adding to this pic...Black background is making the snake nad leaf stand out superbly.. Wonderful frame this one

Wonderful creation Vikram! I loved this composition too, but I think I would also be interested to see the compo that Adithya mentioned... Gives a very creepy feel overall. Very graphic indeed!!

A fine image here Vikram. Agree with the suggestion on cropping - may be square would work better ? Thanks for sharing.
