Dreams
I have been away for a few days enjoying heavy monsoon rains in Malnad region near Western Ghats (Sagar). I did some macro work in heavy rain for couple of days. The lens/filters were getting fogged constantly. After wiping it a few times I decided to use it as is to create moody feel.

A few more images in this series Dreams is here.

Yes, getting wet is still a dream for some leaves and insects here :(
As usual brilliant image! It reminds me of some of your images from the "death" series (i cant see the link for some reason in your website).

May be a little bigger water droplet about to fall would have added? just my thoughts :)

When i saw this image for the first time, i thought little more sharpness needed on the flower. Second time, i felt light on the right side is distracting. Third time onwards, i felt this is the best i could feel for wet dreams. it voke lot of emotions in me.
The series of images that you have shared are brilliant.TFS

This image is making me sad, telling me about the last moments of what was used to a life of glory and appreciation. The last moments of a beauty of the past now being spent in isolation, away from all the light and life in the world in the right of the frame, the small droplet symbolic of life waiting to be drained off in darkness. I really do not think my thoughts matches yours Ganshi, but these are the thoughts which came to my mind. :-). Probably similar phases in life forcing my thoughts.....

Nilanjan, as far this particular image in the series goes I exactly agree with your thoughts. Due to the head-down like posture of the flower it does have an apologetic/defeated/sad look there. For the entire series I wanted to say "Wet dreams - some dries up and some blossom into reality". This one belonged to the former while this has a positive note (as I see it) in it.

This is beautiful, Ganesh! This image has a soothing effect. Presence of the bright spot on the right has been balanced by the softness of the flower bud. I love the way this image has been processed. And tonality has been amazing. It does have a dreamy effect. TFS

Prashanth
