Bharat, This is actually a great image to me. Mild or wild wind is evident here. What was the wind like and what shutter speed you managed this effect. Thank you for sharing.

Its an amazing dreamy image Bharath. You have achieved the good tonality in this image....i am still struggling to get the right tones for monochrome images :(

I too would like to know about wind conditions and the shutter speed that you had set. TFS

Thank you Shankar, Manjunath & Vikas. Feels nice when some one is able to see what you wanted them to see :).

It was wild wind, wilder than I predicted and wanted infact. Many scenes were happening in quick span when I made this.. like stream of light falling on landscape of wild yellow flowers and before I could capture that, came the wind scaring my lone presence enough to blow me off. And before I could capture the fierceness of wind, came the rain to pack me and me gear off for shelter.

This was exposed for 75 seconds though my intention was to expose for about 2 minutes in order to get more blur on the flowers (as well as the leaves on the tree) in foreground. But then I did not want the rain to wipe even the one I could make that day and so had to stop. I intend to make more different Avatars of the wind in future, hope nature befriends me.

This is great image Bharath. I can feel the wind.. After reading about 75 sec exposure, curios to know at what time this was shot..

Thanks Ravi. It was shot at 3.20 with casty conditions in the afternoon and I had used ND filter (10 stop) at f/22.

Beautiful image, Bharath! I like the effect of wind on the tree. Contrasting tones of the flowers and the tree makes it a special one. Somehow I felt this could have been much better with little space all around. TFS

Prashanth

Love the conceptualisation, composition and the contrast. Great images.
