Hi Arati,
i was looking for the bucks who had silently scooted since my last visit. I prefer the image with them than without. Their muted presence packed a surprise in the otherwise spectacularly " fall " toned frame.
Thanks for sharing

I am laughing my head off here, Nirlep. that was *precisely* the dilemma i was in. and when i opted to put the sambhars in and the word "surprises" in my description, because i thought of the image exactly like you have described.
But i doubted myself and was in the frame of mind echoed by Vikram and Shankar too :) :)

*laughing*
So here it is - without and with.
Thanks a lot for your comments - glad someone thinks like i originally had!

Arati - I hadn't seen the original image with the Deer .. When I saw the second version, I was looking for a bird/animal in the frame :) Saw your comment much later, and I like the one with the Deer better :)

those sambhars should be in the frame. Now since I have seen your original image this one looks like an untold story :)

:) I think you should have done in reverse order. Keeping the original post in critique forum and this one in the illustration forum.
I too prefer the original one with slight adjustments in composition, if possible.
