I liked http://www.flickr.com/photos/vikastr/80 ... hotostream this one of the three. I feel pure b/w images work better when there are a few elements in the frame and the image has graphical quality.

Thanks for the comment Aditya. I am learning the monochrome conversion and while trying out i felt pure b/w makes this more interesting. As you rightly said, fewer elements in the frame makes the image better candidate for b/w.
