Honest thoughts: Music totally stirred the emotions in me. No matter how much we try to be rock hearted, music that originates from the unknown and the oblivions has something mysterious and soothing effect on our hearts & minds! It cleanses the soul. As I scrolled through the images listening to the music 'multi-threaded' execution in the mind indeed kicked in!

This is a nice experiment Ganesh. Indeed feels like meditation of a different kind.

Curious to know one thing - did your mind recollected the notes of this music ( similar to pre-visualisation ) whilst you made this image or it happened at a later point?

It is amazing how much the music elevates the viewing experience to a different level. I always used to think part of the problem of not being able to replicate what we feel into an image is because of the fact we are taking a multi dimensional experience and getting it compressed into a two dimensional medium. This i used to think results in an information loss that seemed non recoverable. Adding music to the image some how seems to bring back that feel in a different path altogether. I first came across mixing music and images when i used to see sandesh kadur's creations in youtube like "Mountains of the monsoon"

But music in conjunction with images seems to work for only a series of images though. For a single image there seems to be a disconnect . With a series of images there seems to be a movement and the music helps in the flow from one image to another.

You are right Mahesh, there is always information loss in portraying experiences due to reduced dimension in a medium of expression. I have just added a short note on the series in the other web page to help bridge some of those lost context. I thought they would stand alone, obviously they didn't. This is the challenge we had discussed in the past.

I did not read your explanation, Ganesh - in fact, in my eagerness to see the images, i skipped right through to them. Then i slowed down, as the music instructed me - or gently suggested to me to. and believe it or not, the *exact same* explanations came to my mind, as i saw the leaf go through the swings. i felt it was like life. this is a great series, one that is very inspiring.

one that is asking me to slow down, watch, learn, express softly, deliberately, and honestly. yes, that is the word ... honestly.
