VMR, I used Nikon 24mm tilt-shift lens from a very close range (fortunately the frog was not bothered). I would think 24mm works best, tilt-shift is a big bonus to control bg as needed - I opted to loose the depth in bg in this case with a little tilt. That said, normal 20/24mm lens would work but we may get more depth than needed. I have several other images with side pose of the frog (even while calling etc) but somehow liked this version more. I think the side pose removes the subtle uneasy silence that this image has.
