Color of Death!
We usually compare death with darkness may be because death is an end of something. But death also means beginning of something, an enlightenment may be. Is death really dark?

Here, this spider was caught in the web, killer spider was behind the bright spot on the left. I couldn't control the light, it may look little harsh.

This is in continuation with

Appreciate your views.

Nice image Prashanth. However i feel the bright region to be a tad overpowering. Wonder if a spider can get caught in another's web!!! I have seen in TV programs where a male rhythmically pulls the string to announce his arrival.

Wonderful image and thought Prashanth. As you have said, the light may symbolic of entering new world.
A spider getting caught in spider web, what an irony..

Hi Prashanth, I agree with Madhav on the bright light on the left, you could crop that to make it a much better one. I like this better than 'death chords' as you have included the insect, putting some life into the image but i still wonder why you have named it 'Color of Death'. Overall a nice one, thanks for sharing

Thanks Vikas. Appreciate your frank feedback.
Thanks Madhav. Actually, actually light was little harsh as I mentioned above, also this spider became morning breakfast for the other spider. I'll publish the images with the complete sequence on flickr.
Thanks Ravi! Yes,it was one of nature's wonder.
Thanks Vikram. We usually tend to portray death in dark colour because it represents end of life. But when you look at it from other point of view its beginning of new life. So tried to represent death with bright spot. Hence the title "Colour of death". Another title I thought about this image is "Is Death really Dark?"

Best Regards,
Prashanth
