After a long strenuous walk/run to see and make some images of Sarus Crane at Bharatpur - had some satisfaction making this one.

These dry twigs stood between me and my dreams. I wanted to render them sharp and give them a character. What a fine purpose they served !

Yes, between you and the dream :-). I loved the colored frame too which you showed me. One can easily connect to the calm and soft morning. Good thing that you listened to Birender's advice and did not stop anywhere in between to see some other bird. :-) lol. Am still not too sure of the app in Ramesh's iPhone....was it really 1.1km and we thought it was 5kms at least....Only for Ramesh to clear the doubts, he is the one who cycles 100kms and runs 10km stretches. Amazing image here again Ganshi, thanks for sharing. Brilliant work.

Do you have a similar one with both the cranes, that would be interesting ?
And yes, that walk appeared about 5-8km longer than just 1.1km.

Very apt title Ganesh, for all the streanous walk some of us did in search these elegant birds' glimpse. Many civilization believe that such birds sighting bring prospertiy to the land and people. On other words (to my unerstanding) land is fertile with lot of water and good crops :-) Nice theme image indeed.

Ganesh, you idea of giving the grass a character worked really well here. Loved the soft tones.

Nilanjan, kms definitely felt longer in Bharatpur. I ran on couple of mornings to warm up and all of 1km each that was. It felt like a couple of kms :)
