Colors and Emotions # Depression
There are different feels of yellow colors. It can make you laugh , as well as it can make you cry.this color defines creativity, optimism and at the same time a darker shade can express all the negative feelings like jealousy, depression sorrow. I am trying some experiment on colors and the feelings associated with it. looking at this image I feel a deep sorrow , a depression. However the perception can be varied from person to person. I like to know how you feel seeing this image. It would be great if you share your emotion associated with this picture....:)

Soham, thanks for sharing results of your experiments ! Please continue with the experiments and share them too :)

Back to the image, did you try experimenting with darker shades of blue ? Some of it portray depression more strongly. My emotion ? bordering around 'concerned' or 'worried'..

Soham, i guess it goes to show how individual perceptions can vary widely and are informed possibly by our past experiences or current emotional bent ... because for me, this image is happy. it is a warm glow of compassion and empathy.

for me, there is nothing negative in it at all!

Offered for what it is worth ...
