this is an awesome pic...too many things can be interpreted from this ..... the mindset of the deer , a confused or scared one is aptly represented byt the clutter above...great pic :)

Excellent image. I liked the angle. How about Losing a few pixels from the top? Not very much convinced with the title though.

Hi Arati,
Very Beautiful image... Every time i came back to this image, my mind kept looking for some branches shaken, swaying or blurred by breeze.... How about removing the forest floor till the point where the bottom of the darkest tree trunk starts (on the RHS). :-)

Thank you Swapnil, Hrishikesh and Adithya.
Really happy you liked the image. because i loved making it. When we just got onto the road, i glanced u and saw this female looking out. the frame was so perfect for me, with the tangle of dryness and the setting sun casting a bright spot in the back that i had to make an image. it had a lonely feel to it then - you know, shaam ho gayi hai, and no one else but the sambhar female there. hence the title, Adithya. it is what i felt then for the sambhar - especially since she had her ears perked up and out - listening for something...

thanks again,
A
