Looking at the image it's as if you've been under the tutelage of Ansel Adams. I'm not over stating. And that beholder's eyelash on top left man what an inclusion! It is so feminine it almost melts the rock. One of the best from your collection Raj.

Couple of years back when I visited Yosemite I kind of felt unlike the light here in this part of the world the difference between shadow and highlights are less and probably it is easier (and joy) to handle the shadows. Your thoughts Raj ?

@ Ganesh - Two things do help in Yosemite - The inherent tone of rocks and also the Quality of light and reflected blue light in shadows. my D80 sensor was able to cope

tonal range at its best. Nirlep's words on the eyelashes gave a different meaning to the image. Thanks to both Rajkumar and Nirlep
