Rahul, I kind of get where you are coming from, the vertical line (horizon) being the "meeting point". I think often we may want to get literals out of the frame in our abstractions. There may be different approaches ease that process. One of which may be to play with definition and structure of the portrayed subject. I think the rotation works best when it also eliminates the viewers' urge to rotate their head 90 degrees !
