RD, what about enhancing the darker tones of the foreground so that the eyes can concentrate more on the cranes and also making the tones of the background lighter ? I like the posture of the cranes specially the overlap but I guess the processing can be done to make it more interesting. what do u think ?

Nilanjan, I do have a version of this image similar to what you have mentioned, point taken. Wonderful that all of us are born with different taste buds, otherwise this world would have been stale

No wonder they were the inspiration for 'Ramayana' by Valmiki. Love and and togetherness they display is amazing. Love the side-by-side 'S's there. Did you try non-coffee tones too RD ?

i too like nilanjan da's suggestion to enhance the foreground darker tones. liked this image a lot. i also liked the aspect ration you have chosen. there is something very oriental about it .. almost like a scroll.

It's a couple and a couplet. I can hear them dance.
