It is refreshing to see new work from you Ganesh

May be I need some more introduction to your thought process behind making these images. Main image along with the title some how reminds me of crucifixion. But it's looking too flashy and not evoking 'pain' in me which I was expecting. How about going with a much darker image? I am completely unaware of your thoughts , you may have completely different interpretations, so I am a bit confused.

Would like to know your thoughts.

ganesh, very interesting perspectives, the human intrusion , ( with the nails and wires, the cut log) , i see pain, destruction, the begining of the end, and so many more interpretations, out of this presentation., very thought provoking images,disturbing visuals,and in a way heart wrenching.
.i feel the guilt , even as i write ,at the wood around me in my home,that would have gone through the experiences portrayed in your images above.one tries to soothe this guilt, by activley planting more trees every year.... but ..!!!
loved this series, for the realisation it awakes..a kind of shame it evokes, and of course a sense of helplessness., and resignation.

Adithya, crucifixion of the nature is what I had in mind too. All three images have the same theme. I don't wanted to influence viewers' thoughts by my description to know whether it gets interpreted very differently or whether it makes any sense at all, or whether it is too obvious to be of any interest. Regarding the darker rendition, yes that might work too. I wanted to emphasize 'green' (nature) a bit more along with the points of pain in these frames (so did not go for B&W rendition). May be reduced contrast would have further added to the mood ? Not sure.. will try both darker rendition as well as reduced contrast.. Thanks for your views..

For me cutting a tree is inevitable, but how much and what for is important.
The hint of green suggests me even though a tree is cut down there is enough green left. May be for this reason it's not evoking 'pain' in me.

I liked the title 6778 & others very much. Do you have any other compositions including less/ no green and sky?

Ganesh, i love the way the first two frames have harsh reality juxtaposed with signs of fresh innocent life. Moss, a fresh shoot ....

interesting, will like to see this thought process developed further.
