RD, the question I have in my mind is
where does the nature in city belongs to ? To cities/humans or to nature itself ? Doesn't kites in cities belong to nature ? Should we only show birds and its world in pristine rain forests as images of 'nature' ? Further, I thought portraying the context (showing the wider perspective with flat included) makes it more impactful (and hence creative in my mind at least). That said, I agree we can easily slip to the other extreme of calling 'artificial' as nature/natural. I think all that matters is where the weight is - on the natural world or on the man made world.
If you look at this image for 10 seconds, for how many seconds are you 'seeing' the bird vs. the buildings ? If your eyes go off the bird for more than 5 seconds then this is not an image of nature
