Another different image from you Ganesh! similar to the stripes and a plant capturing tenacity of nature to exist and survive. My first thoughts were to crop the image to show a bit more of the bird but then the story of nature's struggle took over. As shown it's just right. It shows the emptiness of urban spaces being created.
Thanks for sharing.
Looking forward to more from the series!

Ganesh, while the image speaks volumes of stories,
on the second look - does this fit into "CreativeNaturePhotography" ? I know we have had many deviations in the past, but now a days are we making this line wider and wider ?
In my view such images hold positions in a different forum/theme than here.
Your thoughts pls.

Friends, Thanks for your feedback.

RD, the question I have in my mind is where does the nature in city belongs to ? To cities/humans or to nature itself ? Doesn't kites in cities belong to nature ? Should we only show birds and its world in pristine rain forests as images of 'nature' ? Further, I thought portraying the context (showing the wider perspective with flat included) makes it more impactful (and hence creative in my mind at least). That said, I agree we can easily slip to the other extreme of calling 'artificial' as nature/natural. I think all that matters is where the weight is - on the natural world or on the man made world.

If you look at this image for 10 seconds, for how many seconds are you 'seeing' the bird vs. the buildings ?

If your eyes go off the bird for more than 5 seconds then this is not an image of nature :) Would love to know your further thoughts..

Ganesh, " where does the nature in city belong to ? " is pondering question for sure. However, i am under the impression that those (and this) images hold a place elsewhere. If not, i dont know how we can hold a place for picture of a feral dog and a city scape. Where do we limit ? We shall continue this "argument" when we meet next time :)

thanks for sharing such an image, Shankar. Its a complete story of the urban landscape. Kites are invariably a part of the urban space (rather we have made). The way you have framed the image completes the theme. Even the black stripes of the frame adds a lot!
