Niagara - Winter perspective!
The winter of Niagara!
Made the image in the month of March this year.
The slope in the bottom right corner was unavoidable :( as I was at the edge of the window. The frozen ice formation was actually hanging from the top of the window. The contrast is less because of the haze of the mist.

Absolutely beautiful image Ashwini. The haze due to the mist only adds to the image's beauty. Liked those ice cones hanging from top (especially the ones on left). The beautiful curtain of waterfalls on the right anchors the image. You nicely composed this frame.

A very different perspective of the Niagara falls Ashwin. I think a cropped version with just those ice pointers and background falls would have strengthened the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

Ashwin for me the overhang of icicles make the image an image which looks like a painting I agree with Kaushik on the haze adding to the image, infact you have done what Ganesh once did with Satoddi falls ie., make it small, everyone tries to make the Niagara big here you push it behind the overhang and make it small, Fantastic.

Great image. I really pity for what they have done to this beautiful place. Icicles anchors the image very well here. Fantastic framing Ashwini. Gorgeous image depicting the forces of nature.
