Conservation Imagery - Beyond pretty pictures & harsh truth
Over the past few weeks - i have been trying to think a bit beyond the conventional Conservation Images - especially the ones which are to do with Road-Kill. Things like do we really need the glorified fact of representing the kill in its location with a vehicle in background to draw attention or should we consider pretty pictures to draw the attention of the viewer to the issue ( which Chistina from ILCP pointed out during her Keynote in NIF2016 ) have been bothering me. While am trying to put together my thoughts on this in a blog over on my site - i am leaving you folks with this image and the thoughts that .... "in nature nothing is a waste".

Nick Brandt's images of conservation does not show blood and road kills, but they may hit harder (of course it depends on the thickness of the skin of the viewer)
