Homecoming
This is a very personal image for me back in the Forests after a gap of 1and1/2 years indicative of this Gaur which retreats back into the sholas after grazing in the grasslands.

Moody graphic frame here VMR. A large print will do better justice to this image. The thin white border works well too.

VMR, this blows my mind. it is such a strong graphic image. The composition is such that i feel two things. like the forest is beckoning the gaur. and like quiet moody music is leading up to a rich crescendo.

the title too is apt.

Wish you the best,
Arati

Beautiful image VMR !!! Perfection presentation of the mood here and I think more than perfect monochrome rendering. Excellent.

Hi VMR,
I too echo Arati's words..."like the forest is beckoning the gaur" the way the trees lean towards the animal...a true homecoming moment this.
Thanks for sharing

The tinge of the shola forest at the right of the frame. The mood also adds a nice nostalgic mood to the image. Going home never looked more inviting!

Very graphic image. For me has the tinge of sadness which reflects dwindling numbers and shrinking forest. will it be only this shoulder dropped shadow in the future. Well seen and executed

VMR jee, this one is just dragging me repeatedly into it.. love those grains as well as the balance.. very moody indeed!

BTW, i noticed 3 spots on top left corner...

There's a hypnotic effect to this image VMR! I can just shut my eyes and visualize the Gaur walking into those trees :)
