Its a beauty Falak. Loved the composition which is a refreshing deviation from the usual concentric startrail images we are used to. Increasing the contrast a tad could have helped may be?

Love the way strong streaks of light suppressing the presence of the mountain itself ! Hmm, I was very happy when I discovered the mountain ! For some reason mind took them to be trees in the foreground. Not sure if anyone else feel/felt the same. Very strange !!

Sriharsha - Thank you. I wanted the mountain in the picture regardless of the location of the pole star so ended up with non-concentric trails. :)

Ganesh sir - Completely agree with the star trails overwhelming the mountain. Even in reality, they do, don't they? Stars are massive in comparison. It's all about scale. As for the mountain seeming like trees, I believe if an image lets the viewer discover something that was already there on their own, the image works, doesn't it? :)

BTW, Falak, Sriharsha does lots of innovative photograph (star trails, stereographic projections etc). You may check his images here.
