Nada in april was enigmatic. Most of the snow having gone nature was waking up slowly. This stone was a stone with lil snow on top. Come noon and it changed attire. The small depression now had water over which an occassional bird would wet its beak. A closer look revealed something more.

Very nicely visualized here. The pattern created here catches your attention and the water patch gives a very nice framing to the subject. Nice one here.

Nirlep, mind sharing some more information about the source of plant painting on top ? Is it some reflection ? Image looks like a beautiful piece of art. Wish those three little stones (?) on middle left were absent - but then it is nature. Thanks for sharing..

yeah Ganesh this is the actual reflection of a reclining tree. i had thought of burning the stones a bit but just didn't have the heart to do it.

excellent image here, nirlep. i think its bw that makes it so intense. love the reflection and overall feel of the frame. i don't mind those stones there but wish it was little wide angled to compose it at more perfect place with more of the puddle rim visible (just my thought). thanks for sharing.

regards.

Thanks guys, for your comments and critiques. And Nevil this shot actually has more of the rim visible. I cropped it out thinking it was superfluous and how wrong I was!!

Very artistic image here Nirlep. Looks like a painting. May be I would prefer to have a tighter framing interms of reflection. I wish the small stones on the left of the frame weren't there. Beautifully seen image this.
