Eagle on a Tree
Crested Serpent Eagle - Does it matter which eagle?

I *suspect* (not totally sure) this might look good as a large print.

Small crop of a stitched image from 0.4 sec exposure, vertical pano, many images ( 7827 × 12983 pixels original file).

Utterly artistic n genial making!, Ganesh. Love those contemplative strokes on white. On the field work n technical details to make one is really not easy to comprehend.
It's philosophical as I see .. a lonely old man, in winter snow!
Regards.

I too see a man walking next to fence on snow :) I can never imagine of getting this kind of vertical pano with .4 sec exposure, this is utterly technical and at the same time very artistic too.

If the shape of the bird is little more evident, will that work? I dont know .

Hi Ganesh!
The ferment in your mind, can it be depicted better than this! Where does it all come together, appears to be the question here. Blurring of identities, things seen and presented as mobile vision (medical term) after doing stupendous work on sharply rendered subjects must be a deeply felt compulsion. Another notable thing about this image is the absence of text. The accompanying text too is non-speaking and resonates with the image. To me the shot is not a photograph per-se but a photographer challenging the very ground that S'he stands on. An inquest into the very premise of perception. Things coming forward to mark attendance when looked upon and, diffusing into the flux the moment we look away. The flux is the world abstracted, out of which identities emerge and disappear. In this sense may I hazard a guess that the subject of the picture is not the things being looked at but things retiring to their "things domain" when they are not the objects of attention.
It's been a long time!
Thanks for sharing

After Nevil's comment I could see only the old man :)
Stitched pan, something new. Just to get the desired amount of blur itself is so difficult and you are stitching them as well!!!

This is an image to come back to again and again and see something new every time... and if not see... just ponder and allow the image to talk back to you...The technical expertise is of course a different ball game altogether and for someone like me even imagining something like this is monumental...This image has been open in my laptop for a while now before I could even put together the words to express my admiration...TFS... and thanks for pushing all of us to see beyond what we think we can see...

One of the best impressionsitic images for me... certainly the feel of that eagle (no matter which kind) makes it so moody

The solitude of a sage...! Melting thoughts and the distant horizon I set like the sun into.....

Thanks and regards....
