You need to print this large, Viraj! An award winning image in my books. The hazy, painterly horizon I think adds a lot to the artistic appeal. Well done!!

Stunning! Humbling to see layered landscape and firefly congregation. Only wish would be a little bit more room on the left of the frame. Congratulations on this capture.

The picture is interesting with its many contrasts: 1) In a way it is a documentary picture of the fireflies but it is very much art at the same time. 2) Only two colors: the yellow against the blue. 3) The clouds of flies are sharp against the soft background.

This looks like some digital painting ! It is pure magic that this is recorded by a Camera sensor. The sharp rendition of fireflies against the soft rendition of the mountains and clouds is a pleasing gift to the eyes. Well done Viraj !
