This image immediately reminded me of an old image by Praveen P Mohandas

However, this image without the hint of the water or reality and deeper tonal values is more abstract and as Anders said has Jackson Pollock effect.

You have made this image look so elegant. I was initially thinking of black and white might look better but after watching it for a few times, the existing version looks very good.
