rorschach's mindscape
reflection of a rocky ledge, turned left. reflection opened-up a little for highlight to match one on the real side.

'seeing' influenced by swiss psychiatrist rorschach, who developed bilaterally symmetrical inkblots (we used to do in school with liquid colours) to unlock the subconscious of patients with probable disorder in perception and thought process ... added the word 'mindscape' as its a landscape that resembles the symmetry (distorted) of a human brain with the centre bridge.

thank you for critiques and ratings. regards.

Very well seen and I loved the idea of turning it left. Is the black n white conversion done to match the right with the left ? Truly a mindscape. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful image. True art actually.

For me it is a mind boggling image! I took some time to perceive what I am actually seeing here... very abstract feel and very fine execution...I am probably tempted to crop a small strip at the top till the starting of the dark line which is running in the center....Truly a mindscape! Thanks a bunch for sharing...

It takes in some time to finally come to terms with this image. The jagged sharp edges of the rock have a major impact on how the image is perceived. Its very abstract and yet feels very real. I liked it

thank you everyone for ... thoughts.

@nilanjanji,
matching two sides in colour version wasn't a problem, infact i matched them in colour 'n then converted to b/w. colour version too looks good but then things like twigs, rocks, plants looks more distinct and distracting, as long as i wanted to portray it with the psyche related theme. moreover, b/w version has much louder impact and is reduced to very essence, i feel.

thanks once again.

I am blown away by the sheer abstractness of this image. You have visualized and executed it brilliantly Nevil! I remember the liquid colors with which we played a lot too. Alas, we tend to forget what we learned in our childhood. This is a fantastic abstract and looks great on the wall. I love the caption too. Thanks for sharing this.

BTW, do you mind sharing the color version too?

It is a puzzle indeed ! Nicely seen image Nevil. Consider adjusting the low lights a bit to get the better definition of textures. Thanks for sharing..
